Wilson Auctioneers Sells 385 Acres of Arkansas Farmland for Nearly $2.5 Million
Stuttgart property attracts bidders from seven states, sells for $6,490 per acre
STUTTGART, Ark. (October 22, 2026) Wilson Auctioneers sold approximately 385 acres of farmland near Stuttgart, Arkansas, for $2,498,650 at auction on Wednesday, October 21, averaging $6,490 per acre.
The property, located at 2226 Stovesand-Prislovsky Road, was sold on behalf of Donath Trust. The transaction represents a significant agricultural real estate sale in the Stuttgart area, a region with a rich history of farming.
The auction attracted bidders from seven states: Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana, Illinois, Mississippi, Florida and Kansas. Despite the multistate participation, the winning bidder was from Stuttgart, keeping ownership of the property in the local community.
“Arkansas farmland has an enduring appeal because it offers something investors have valued for generations: a tangible, productive asset with long-term utility,” said David Brewer, President of Wilson Auctioneers. “While agricultural markets and commodity prices will always fluctuate, quality farmland remains a finite resource. The interest we saw from bidders across seven states reflects the continued appeal of Arkansas agricultural land to both local buyers and investors from outside the region.”
