The rifle (No. 30226) was ordered by His Highness The Maharaja Ramaneig Saran Signh Deo C.I.E. of Sirguja from the Siguja State. The rifle was dispatched to the Raghunath Palace in Ambikapur on 26 November, 1924. When the rifle was ordered His Highness paid £135.00 for the rifle and a further £8.00 and 8 Shillings for a leather case.
